Aed Prescription Requirements

Any natural or legal person who acquires or provides an AED in good faith, provides emergency care or treatment using an AED, or supervises such care or treatment, and who has complied with the requirements of this Act, is exempt from civil liability for bodily injury resulting from such care or treatment, or as a result of acts or omissions of the natural or legal person in providing, performing or supervising emergency care or treatment. Under FDA rules, most AEDs require buyers to get a prescription from a doctor. These are usually provided by the AED seller and used as a sales instrument.
